“A WALK INTO NATURE”
What an amazing experience I had with Connor, Samantha, Jenny and Ashley. Short hikes into nature and sharing the beauty
of it all was a true inspiration. I enjoyed showing these kids camera use and guiding them through their expressions of creativity.
The imagery they captured and their excitement was heart warming.
Enjoy their photographic journey!

FOCUS ON OUR SCHOOLS
“A SENSE OF PLACE” – Aspen Community School 5th through 8th grades.
A classic autumn morning was spent with students (grades 5-8) at the Aspen Community School. Bluebird skies, snow capped mountain tops, an array of fall colored leaves along with a group of enthusiastic kids greeted us! Our guided photo workshops were blended into the students present studies of a “Sense of Place”, a lesson in natural history. Students along with their teachers, Garry Pfaffman and LouRae Doyle, explored their campus surroundings in a new and refreshing perspective. We appreciated the kids mentioning how our photography workshops opened their eyes to things they had taken for granted and allowed them to reconnect with their surroundings. Each child’s experience was rounded out by selecting a favorite image and writing a short caption of what inspired them. Thanks for having us!

“PHOTO FIELD TRIP” – Aspen Community School 3rd and 4th grade.
Amazing kids! We had an awesome time during the photography workshop field trip. Each child captured images with their own creative perspective, had the opportunity to learn more about their cameras, how to view the world around them, asked plenty of interesting questions and basically had a blast.
Enjoy their images!

Photo Essays: images coming to life through the art of storytelling and touching the hearts of others.
(see our “contact” link on how to submit photo essays)
A photo essay by Emily (age 10), Aaron (age 6) and Ashley Adams (age 4)
This photo essay was documented and written in a fun positive way to bring forth an awareness to our community and communities around the world of the increased shopping cart litter. In a two hour time, with the assistance of their parents, Emily, AJ and Ashley Adams collected over 25 shopping carts, digging them out of snow drifts, from the road side, bus stops and underpasses and returned them to the store. Thank you for viewing our images and reading our story. Together we can free our communities of “shopping cart litter”
Enjoy!
