We have designed photography workshops for kids and the “kid at heart” where they can explore nature and their communities, enhance their creative imagination and look beyond the obvious. Based on the one’s knowledge and experience, we teach basic to advance levels of photography and camera mechanics. Each person will have the opportunity to select their favorite image(s) and then share what this image means and represents to them. This helps in the development of each person’s ability to discuss and express themselves to others. Our environment offers endless opportunities to develop your creativity.

JULY WORKSHOPS
“OUT & ABOUT” PHOTO FIELD TRIP
Dates: July 28
Ages: 10 – 15 yrs. old
Time: 1:00 – 4:00

Activities:
Explore, imagine, experience, create…join us for a three hour “Out & About” Photo Field Trip! This excursion is designed to capture a varying angles, perspectives and techniques. Camera mechanics and skills will be taught along with nurturing and advancing each child’s abilities and vision. Children select their favorite image and write a fitting caption. The images will be displayed, on our website, www.visualizeaplace.com so that they may share their vision and encourage each child’s self-esteem.

“THINGS THAT CRAWL”
Dates: July 27 & 29 (Tue. & Thur.)
Ages: 5 – 9 yrs. old
Time: 1:00 – 2:30
Location: Basalt, Colorado

Activities:
Let’s search for all sorts of creatures that crawl and move about in the same fashion. Take a new photo perspective and join our earthly friends down low and up close. Let’s see what happens in their world. Camera skills suited for close up photography and highlight imagery will be taught to each child. A select image and caption for the photo will be created by each child and posted on our website, www.visualizeaplace.com.

- Digital camera (fully charged)
- Memory card (empty)
- Extra batteries
- Backpack with water and snack
- Appropriate clothing

- Sunscreen (if needed)
HOW TO REGISTER:

- A release/registration form with be emailed to you for completion.
- Mail form along with payment made payable to Gregg Adams Photography at

- Participant is not registered until payment and form is received.
- To allow time for planning, timely registration is important!
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY
- A credit towards future classes is given if participant cancels within ten (10) business days prior to the class starting. Credit is valid for six (6) months after the original workshop date only.
- No credit is granted if participant cancels less than 10 business days prior to class starting.
- A full refund will be granted if class is canceled by Gregg Adams Photography.
